Revd. Peter Seal - Rector

Peter studied theology at Exeter University from 1977-1980 and trained for ordination at Lincoln Theological College and the English College in Rome. He served as a Curate in the Wareham Team Ministry in Dorset, where he and Julia met and were married. They moved to Winchester in 1987. Peter was Chaplain at King Alfred’s College and then Vicar of St Luke’s Stanmore for ten years. Peter served as Rural Dean of Winchester from 2000-07 and has been Rector of St Matthew’s with St Paul’s and Chaplain of Peter Symonds College since 2000. Peter enjoys walking, cycling, golf and DIY. Bishop John Dennis

Bishop John Dennis is an honorary assistant bishop in the Diocese of Winchester, and is a very valued member of the staff and congregation in our parish.
John was previously the Bishop of Knaresborough (1979-1986) and Bishop of St-Edmundsbury and Ipswich (1986-1996), now retired. |

Mary Copping - Children & Youth Work Co-ordinator

Mary has been with St. Paul’s since 2002. She became a Licensed Reader in 2003 and is currently training for Ordination at Sarum College, Salisbury on a distance learning course. Mary became our Children and Youth Work Co-ordinator in 2006. She is married to Pete, with two grown up children, Tara and Paul, and 2 grandchildren, Charlotte and Sam. In her rare moments of spare time, she enjoys swimming, Sudoku and playing with the grandchildren.
