Our parish spans a broad range of people at different stages of their faith, and with differing needs. As such, we have a rich and varied set of activities within the parish to support the development of our faith, to suit all tastes. If any of these interest you, do please contact us for information on getting involved.
Bible Study
Studying and engaging with scripture is an important facet of faith development. There are many different resources to help us with this, but no one tool will suit everybody. We have compiled a list of bible study guides and resources that we have found useful, according to our own particular approaches to bible study.
Confirmation
Confirmation marks the point in the Christian journey where those who have been baptised as children make a firm commitment to Christian discipleship.
Lent Groups
Each year we run some faith development courses during the Lent period. Find out what is on offer for 2012.
Book Group
We are a very informal group who meet periodically to read and share books of a religious, theological or spiritual nature. We choose a book, go off and read it, then come back together to share our thoughts and experiences, usually over a glass of wine or a slice of cake! Find out what we're reading now...
Alpha@St.Pauls
St. Paul's Alpha Course starts on Monday 31st October 2011 for 6 weeks.
Reflection and Silent Prayer Group
On the second and fourth Tuesdays of the month, at 7:45pm in the Lady Chapel of St. Paul's.
Tuesday House Group
This is a group which meets in a house rather than on church premises, for bible based study - starting and finishing with prayer and including time for participants to say as much or as little about "how their week has been".
